SOLIGNY Vent d'Ange

The “Vent d’Ange” limited editions showcase single cask whiskies matured in fresh casks sourced from some of the finest wine terroirs near the distillery. Vent d’Ange N°21045R is the second single cask in the range. It comes from a unique 228-liter fine-grain oak cask that had previously held Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2019, matured to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our VetV GODIER estate. The cask was emptied on the morning of March 19, 2021, and refilled the same afternoon with distillate D019 from the winter of 2021. Beyond Soligny’s signature profile (fruity notes and hints of straw), this fresh cask single cask edition offers an exploration combining the elegance of Burgundy Grand Cru Pinot Noir with the sweetness of Planet barley grown in the Bois Dieu plot.
