LE TRANQUILLE Aniseed notes, herbaceous freshness, very subtle licorice. The first creation from our distillery, “Le Tranquille” is a handcrafted pastis that combines approachability with aromatic depth. Its initial taste evokes classic elements—star anise, licorice, and a touch of bay leaf—in the spirit of the most widely consumed pastis, so as not to disrupt established habits. But very quickly, it asserts its own identity: the freshness of verbena, then Provençal garrigue with distinct notes of thyme, savory, hyssop, and wormwood, all resulting from individual macerations and distillations. Less sweet than market standards (15g/L), Martinat “Le Tranquille” pastis retains remarkable aromatic intensity, even diluted. A pastis that is at once popular, straightforward, and precise, designed to bring enthusiasts together around an authentic taste.
