Nose : precise, sharp. On the initial nose, the peated malted barley is imbibed with notes of blue agave and slate. Around its edges, traces of ash overflow onto freshly cut grass. In its centre, a delicate smoke covers the aroma of artichoke hearts. As a whole, it is incredibly heady. Gradually, agave honey covers the aromatic palette as the sherry adds spice bread and crushed red fruit. The malted barley brings notes of almond milk._x000D_<br>_x000D_

Palate : taut, lively. Reiterating the mineral character of the nose, the attack on the palate reveals a handful of macerated fruit (Mirabelle plum, strawberry, cherry). As with the nose, the sherry also leaves its mark on the gustatory palette. The end of the palate is refreshed with spearmint and juicy notes of watermelon. Medicinal peat (balm, mustard) adds a boost.

Overall : elegant, slender. Proudly showing the same minerality found on the nose and palate, the finish is delicately smoky and ashy (tobacco). It lingers with notes of dried fruit (almond, date, fig) and a fine layer of green liquorice. The retro-nasal olfaction is intensely fruity (strawberry, gooseberry) and the empty glass returns to artichoke and agave._x000D_
