Epistémè R15C25 Triangle is the second of the twin expressions of the R15C25 exploration, an experiment into the influence of the same spirit's journey through two distinct sets of casks. Epistémè R15C25 Triangle underwent triple maturation: first in new casks for a few weeks, then aged successively in 2 roux casks, one of Cognac, then the other of wine (ex-Pinot gris) from a winegrower friend in Trieves. These 3 casks also have in common the nature of their wood: French oak - Quercus Petraea - characterized by a predominance of fine grains. 3 casks with distinct influences for a rustic, rootsy whisky with citrus hints on the finish.
