WHITLAW 10 ans 2013 PX & Oloroso Signatory Vintage

Behind this name lies the Orkney Islands Highland Park distillery, which uses its own peat from the nearby hills of Hobbister Moor to dry the barley still malted on site. This bottling was distilled in 2013 and aged for 10 years in Pedro Ximenez and Olorosso casks before being bottled at 46%. It has a round, indulgent profile, with aromas of caramel, marron glacé and waxed wood. The whiskies in the 46% range are bottled from small batches of casks, uncoloured and chill-filtered.
