Nose : Rich, deep. A magnificent rancio immediately takes its place, followed by a pell-mell of brandied cherry notes, apricot, mango, polish, leather, dark chocolate, pipe tobacco, gentian root and toffee.

Appearance : Cuivre orangé.

Palate : Lively yet full. With superior elegance, the flavour palette brings together notes of red fruits (strawberry, red fruits), noble spices (cardamom), heady florals (lily, tuberose), candied citrus fruits (orange, mandarin), precious woods (sandalwood, larch), nuts (walnut, chestnut, almond) and forest floor (lichen).

Overall : Long, silky. The deeply fresh start to the finish invites us to taste a thyme infusion, praline and orange jam. Balsamic (pine, lime blossom) and spicy (star anise, clove, saffron), the after-taste is salty (fleur de sel), roasted (coffee) and herbal (tobacco).
