Produced in Santiago Matatlan, the capital of mezcal, Derrumbes expresses all the power and exuberance of an artisanal mezcal. Sophisticated, earthy, and animalistic, it remains remarkably balanced, allowing the agave to showcase its notes of salt, pepper, citrus, and fresh fruits. This mezcal highlights the terroir and traditional production methods of the Oaxaca region. Derrumbes N°1 is crafted from agave angustifolia (espadin) and tobala by the Mateo family, who have been cultivating it for three generations. The resulting Derrumbes is distinctive and expressive.
