Nose : delicate and airy. Citrusy, herbal, smoky and vanilla, the aromatic profile is finely chiselled. Upon aeration, a second phase emerges, lively and spicy, with white flowers (lilac, lily of the valley) and Williams pear mingling with ashy and medicinal scents (balm).

Appearance : or pâle.

Palate : lively and sharp. In contrast to the nose, the flavour profile focuses on a rich, oily peat that pushes the ashy notes into the background. Candied citrus and pears then settle over a bed of freshly cut grass. A pleasant saline character evokes sea spray, samphire and grains of sea salt.

Overall : broad and dense. Now taking on creamy chocolate notes, the peat continues to dominate a flavour profile otherwise marked by coconut milk and vanilla. Bringing to mind the pastoral atmosphere of salt meadows (samphire, dandelion), the retro-olfaction offers a delightful touch of mint. The empty glass reveals soft hints of Havana cigar smoke.
