BALCONES 2 ans Pedro Ximenez Wine Cask TBYWC

Fourth batch in collaboration with Balcones, a Texas distillery created in 2008. This whisky is made from Hopi Blue Corn (ancient and rare corn from southern Mexico). It is then smoked before being matured in a a Pedro Ximenez cask. That Boutique-Y Whisky Company is instantly recognizable by its comic-strip style labels, full of details and humorous references. The design may seem eccentric, but the selection is very careful and often quite surprising.
