MACALLAN (The) Art is the Flower

The Macallan Art is the Flower was respectfully crafted to celebrate the circularity of nature captured in Mackintosh's 1902 stained glass window, The Spirit of the Rose. Mackintosh poetically saw art as the flower of life. He called on the arts and crafts community to “offer the flowers of the art within you - the symbols of all that is noble, beautiful and inspiring”: The Macallan Whisky Mastery, inspired by Mackintosh's exceptional representation of his appeal in architecture, art and wood, offers his exemplary art of whisky making in The Macallan Art is the Flower single malt scotch whisky. Aged in sherry-aged European oak casks, this expression reflects Mackintosh's sojourn in Europe, and presents a beautiful, deeply colored whisky whose flavor characteristics have developed naturally over time.
