CAPOVILLA Grappa di Barolo

Nose : Powerful, concentrated. The grapes are black, as are the other fruit (blueberries, blackberries, cherries, blackcurrants). Evolves with heady floral notes (tuberose, gardenia, camellia). The minerality leads towards stone fruit (prunes, apricots).

Palate : Firm and creamy at the same time. The grape skins burst, releasing purple juice. Tannic, the mid-palate is reminiscent of a Barolo, with a fruity, spicy (cardamom) and balsamic (cedar) bouquet.

Overall : Impressive length. Due to a summer heatwave, the fruit has become partially dried (figs and dates). In fact, halfway between freshness and dryness, their heart is red, surrounded by crimson.
