Ardara Single Malt breaks that trend, reclaiming Donegal’s essential character. Made with heavily peated malted barley (55ppm), distilled grain in and matured sherry forward; this Irish whiskey brings to life a style unseen for a hundred years.
Nose : A sweet fruity, nutty single malt character; a hint of waxiness with sweet pipe smoke.
Palate : Hot beignets, instensley sweet, green melon, poached pears, roasted coconut, almond, leather, rolled tobacco and a rich sweet smoke.
Overall : A campfire morning after ashiness and baked apples.
