The care taken with the raw material, its double distillation in copper stills, and its four years of aging in French oak barrels from Rioja Alavesa make this whisky a UNIQUE product. It is the only whisky in the world to have been aged entirely in Rioja red wine barrels.
Nose : Fresh and delicate aromas of ripe fruit, peaches and violets, with slight vinous notes from aging in Bordeaux red wine barrels from Rioja. Toasted and spicy notes.
Palate : Dense, smooth and delicate on the palate, with sweet notes on the attack and medium length.
Overall : Surprisingly, the finish is slightly dry and bitter.
