A 22-year-old Islay single malt from the Kildalton coast, aged in second-fill casks and bottled at its natural cask strength. Maritime smoke, oaky depth, and elegant maturity are evident in this long aging. A serious and patiently matured Islay, enveloped in Whiskyland's signature surrealism—refined yet always full of character. Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other spirits. Angus MacRaild—also the author of the WhiskySponge blog—is its founder. His philosophy is quality, fun, and not taking life too seriously. This quirky side is reflected both in his blog and on the labels of his bottlings, with the sponge character appearing in a wide variety of ways. These bottlings, mostly single casks, are divided into different brands such as Spongeverse, Equinox & Solstice, Equilibrium, and NAS. The Spongeverse includes WhiskySponge, RumSponge, CognacSponge, ArmagnacSponge, and WineSponge.
