This Last Consignment, distilled in pot stills and bottled at cask strength, is the result of a blend of rums produced in the 1940s across British colonies (Barbados, Jamaica, Guyana, Trinidad). Stored in stone jars under customs supervision since December 1970, it was finally unveiled on 31 July 2010. Even the empty glass alone can transport us back in time aboard the HMS Bermuda, one of these historic vessels.
