Description

Produced in Switzerland from a French recipe dating from the mid-19th century, Tempus Fugit Liqueur de Violette has been created with the same historically accurate care as all the other products in the range. Using French violets, hand-picked near the Côte d'Azur, this liqueur has been designed with a much lower sugar content than the two creams in the same range, to enhance the elegance and complexity of its floral aromas. Tempus Fugit Liqueur de Violettes can be enjoyed in a flute of Champagne, or simply on the rocks, in both historic recipes and modern creations.

Tasting notes

Nose : fin, subtil. Dans un premier temps, la violette dévoile avec délicatesse ses parfums capiteux. Près d’elle se trouvent des myrtilles et des cassis. Derrière, on distingue de la ronce à mûre et des notes finement boisées (pin). Il évolue vers le bonbon à la violette.

Overall : longue, fraîche. Elle gagne en gourmandise. Les violettes baignent dans des miels délicieux (acacia, fleur d’oranger). Au fur et à mesure, leurs parfums embaument l’espace gustatif. La rétro olfaction est florale, fruitée (cassis, grenade) et cacaotée. Le verre vide est essentiellement floral et herbacé.
