A new range launched in Spring 2020, the Cask Collection illustrates the creativity of the West Cork distillery. Produced in small batches, these Single Malts made from 100% Irish malted barley are triple distilled and then aged in first-fill bourbon casks. Each is then matured in a spirits or fortified wine cask for several months and therefore has a unique character and a 100% natural colour. For each Single Malt, the House from which the casks originate is specified in the greatest transparency on the label. For this Virgin Oak Cask Finished, the influence of Kelvin Cooperage new oak casks is very clear, with a woody, spicy Single Malt, with pronounced woody notes and a hint of fruit.
