WEST CORK Rum Cask Finished

A new range launched in Spring 2020, the Cask Collection illustrates the creativity of the West Cork distillery. Produced in small batches, these Single Malts made from 100% Irish malted barley are triple distilled and then aged in first-fill bourbon casks. Each is then matured in a spirits or fortified wine cask for several months and therefore has a unique character and a 100% natural colour. For each Single Malt, the House from which the casks originate is specified in the greatest transparency on the label. For this Rum Cask Finished, the influence of casks from the Concorcio Liquorero Nacional of Panama is very clear, with a very delectable Single Malt, with expressive notes of sugar cane, caramel and fresh fruit in particular.
