Nose : full, fleshy. The first nose reveals very intense aromas of orange and banana. These two fruits then make way for mango, persimmon and guava. Adding the finishing touches to this very eloquent fruity register, candied apricot brings a deliciously rich aspect to the aroma palette. Allowed to breathe, heady florals (iris, geranium) and camphor interweave with empyreumatic notes (oil, tar, crème brûlée).

Appearance : orangey copper.

Palate : taut, lively. The telluric attack (lava, incense) reveals an expression of rare power. Dark chocolate and zan liquorice sweets precede the arrival of juicy citrus fruits (mandarin, kumquat). On the mid-palate, cane sugar, lemon balm, orange blossom and iris butter appear alongside resine flavours (thuja). The end of the palate is medicinal (ointment, mustard) and musky.

Overall : long, rich. The particularly floral (lily, tuberose) and rooty (gentian, ginger) start of the finish is also intensely chocolatey and roasted (coffee). Next, raisin, warm cane sugar and flambéed banana flood the end of the finish with their heady flavours. The medicinal retro-nasal olfaction reveals reseda, pine resin, lime blossom honey and cardamom. The empty glass releases aromas of burnt sugar cane, candied ginger, bitter orange and clove.
