TALISKER Storm 45,8%
Single Malt Whisky, Scotland / Highlands-skye, 70cl, Ref: 17733
Talisker Storm is a blend of Talisker’s finest, different-aged casks. Together, they enhance the intensity of Talisker’s smoky, maritime character. Talisker Storm is bottled at 45.8%, a percentage which allows it to show itself in its best light.
- Nose : discreet but spicy on the nose, with a hint of ash; fresh and increasingly complex; developing into a malted sweetness and very ripe red fruits. Smoky notes accompanied by the usual salt and pepper.
- Palate : soft and rich, it becomes increasingly spicy, revealing notes of smoke. Well-balanced, it is soft, salty and smoky. Gains body with the addition of a little water.
- Overall : with good length, it is soft and balanced with subtle notes of peat embers.
- The brand
Talisker, which means “sloping rock” in Norse, is the only distillery on the Isle of Skye, the most northerly island in the Inner Hebrides and an area little protected from the storms of the Atlantic Ocean. Established in 1830 on the banks of Loch Harport, it has a status all of its own in the world of whisky. Its soft and peaty water comes not from streams or rivers, but from the 21 underground springs of nearby Hawk Hill. Its single malt, produced using traditional methods, has an easily-identifiable, oily character that comes from slow cooling after distillation. Find out more

Superbe entrée de gamme et rapport qualité prix excellent, typique de l'ile de Skye. Est bien au dessus du Talisker 10 ans qu'il remplace.
