Born out of Starward experimental Projects Program, Ginger Beer Cask returns and it’s ready to drink your way. For the sixth batched release Starward distillers took their Melbourne-made and juicy single malt whisky and finished it in casks that held the distillery brewed ginger beer. Loaded with ginger and citrus peel, it leads with fire and spice.
Aromatically you are hit with dark chocolate and orange. The influence of both the Apera (fortified wine) and red wine barrel maturation shines through. We have been left with a truly unique expression of Ginger Beer Cask, unlike any that have gone before.
