Inspired by the land, Sothis gin is the brainchild of Maxime Chapoutier. It takes its name from both a star and the goddess of fertility. Distilled from organic grapes and plants in the vineyards on the Chapoutier estate in the heart of the Rhone Valley._x000D_ _x000D_ Sothis is initially quite delicately spiced on the nose. It evolves into more floral and exotic notes of chamomile and mango. The palate reveals notes of citrus fruits then spices, evoking lemon thyme and verbena. Finally, the bitterness adds depth and fades into herbal notes.
