SECRET SPEYSIDE DISTILLERY 19 ans 2003 Edition No.72 Whisky Sponge D.D.

A single refill hogshead of 2003 single malt from an unnamable, yet legendary, Speyside distillery. These stocks were lightly peated, which is very unusual for this distillery. Bottled at natural cask strength. Wonderful distillate forward profile with an unusual combination of gentle medicine and smoke. Tobacco leaf, dried apple and shoe polish. Great texture and length in the mouth.

Decadent Drinks is an independent bottler of whisky and other fine spirits. Angus MacRaild - also author of the WhiskySponge blog - is the founder.
