The cooperation between Kirsch Import and the marine conservation organisation Sea Shepherd is breaking new waves – with a Navy Strength version of the Sea Shepherd Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The peated special edition of the range was bottled at 57.1% vol., following marine tradition, and thus makes an extra strong contribution to the mission of the environmental pirates. Every bottle sold supports Sea Shepherd: Kirsch Import donates ten percent of sales.

Tasting note

Nose : Spicy maritime aroma reminiscent of coastal fog, plus a distinct, inviting smoky note with slightly sweet hints.
Palate : Strong peat smoke conquers the palate, balanced by salted caramel and a hint of fruit.
Overall : The smoke finishes medium long with renewed sweetness and the tart spiciness of leather and tobacco.
