Description

Distilled in a traditional Creole column. Aged and bottled in our cellars in Sainte-Marie. Barreled on 12/12/2006 in 200L American oak. 15 years, no reduction or topping. Light filtration.
Collector's series limited to 4910 bottles worldwide, sold in a case.
Tasting notes
Nose : Beautiful aromatic richness without aggressiveness despite the degree. The attack is seductive with the fragrance of walnut kernels. The old wood carries the whole and evolves towards spicy and cocoa notes.
Palate : The attack is warm with a woody presence. The spices carry the whole and fade to the benefit of candied fruits like an old brandy.
Overall : All the aromatic profile of the Saint-James distillery.
