Savanna is an historical plant with the sugar factory called Bois Rouge and the distillery that produce Savanna. Uniqueness of Savanna is that they produce all style of rum, from juice, from molasses and also they still are guardian of the old style Grand Arome, similar to Haut Gout Jamaican dunder style, producing higher ester rums. This rum is an agricole rhum, distilled in single column on November 15th 2012, aged 6 tropical years in Reunion Island, and bottled straight from the cask at 61%. Total production 1117 bottles.
