Nose : Full and deep. Of a rare concentration, the first nose oscillates with class between scents of mushrooms (truffle, boletus), noble spices (cardamom), apricot coulis, roasted mangoes, grilled nuts, cocoa powder, dark chocolate and gingerbread. This shows its complexity. On aeration, the aromatic palette reveals scents of leather, incense, quince jelly and wild strawberries of great purity of expression.
Appearance : Cuivre orangé à reflets acajou.
Palate : Exhilarating. Divinely rancioté (cherry in brandy, very ripe mango), the attack in the mouth is particularly pulpy and dense. Remarkably well-balanced, the mid-palate reveals particularly moving notes of vanilla pods, toffee, pomegranate and lime blossom honey. The finish takes us into very subtle floral registers (geranium, dahlia, carnation, peony).
Overall : Long, full-bodied. With its touch that evokes taffeta or white peach, the beginning of the finish invites the taster to crunch it without restraint. In the aftertaste, strawberries and raspberries enrich a fruity register that is already well-filled. In retro olfaction, notes of toffee, undergrowth and tobacco underline the tertiary and mature character of the taste palette. The empty glass is intensely malty and freshly herbaceous as a signature.
