PLANTATION RUM 2015 Barbade

Bottled at a natural strength of 51,7% from a handpicked single cask, Barbados 2015 Ukraine Charity Bottling is a limited release of just 246 individually numbered bottles. All proceeds will be donated to the local association Budmo UA, a group of spirits industry professionals supporting local restaurants and providing meals to thousands of people in Ukraine.
This cask strength rum has first aged for 2 years in Bourbon barrels in tropical climate and 1 year in Ferrand casks in France, before being recasked for 4 years in an ex-Teeling single malt Irish whiskey cask. This third maturation brings an incredible richness and complexity to an elegant and -well-balanced rum, with notes of ripe fruits, vanilla and cocoa.
