This Mortlach, distilled in 1969, patiently aged in a first-fill Sherry butt cask for half a century. As can be seen from the stunning dark mahogany colour, the cask's influence is significant. The bottling is magnificent from every angle. A limited edition of 200 bottles. The Private Collection range features a collection of single malts that are exceptional on account of both age and quality. Matured in unique casks and shaped by time, the whiskies are a credit to the distilleries, whether the latter are well-known, yet to be discovered, or no longer operating.
