LINDORES ABBEY Aqua Vitae 40%
Autres Eaux De Vie De Biere, Scotland, 70cl, Ref: 54856
Located near Newburgh in Fife, the Lindores Abbey Distillery has just started its activity few steps from a site that has marked the history of whiskey. It is in the very heart of this Abbey that the very first whiskey was born in 1494, under the name of "Uisge beatha" originally meaning eau-de-vie. Called Aqua vitae, this first edition pays tribute to the very first steps of whiskey. A promising new make, infused with natural herbs, fruits and spices harvested around the gardens and fields of the Abbey.
