The peated version of the Tobermory single malt, this Ledaig bottling is a very distinctive whisky, marked by animal and marine notes. Rich and oily on the palate, it also unveils notes of honeydew melon and aquatic plants.
Avec sa texture en bouche grasse très surprenante pour un whisky dilué à 40%, il est recommandé de consommer ce single malt frais entre 10°C et 15°C et s'il le faut, d'agiter sa bouteille afin que les matières grasses présentes dans le whisky se diffusent de façon homogène.
Tasting notes
Nose : fresh, peated, marine.
Palate : rich, mentholated, marine (kelp), smoky, fishy.
Overall : peated and iodised, quite long.
