To represent the Murderers of the Macbeth tragedy, Elixir Distillers decided to turn to four whiskies from Scotland's iconic islands. This Ledaig is the first of the 4 Murderers to appear.
Livingstone and Elixir Distillers present the first act of the Macbeth range, a tribute to the play written by William Shakespeare in 1606. This first act includes nine elixirs that will allow us to wait patiently before the next four acts, for a total of 42 whiskies. Each scotch whisky in this series is based on the profiles of the characters in Macbeth, with tasting notes written by Dave Broom and labels illustrated by the legendary Sir Quentin Blake. It's a journey from Shakespeare to the finest bottles Elixir Distillers has to offer.
