Known locally as Bakushu Kura no Kaori (‘barrel store perfumes’ in Japanese), this craft beer is made with Fushi-Mizu water and sake yeast. A wheat beer with delicate, abundant bubbles.
Kisakura has been brewing sake in the south of Kyoto for several decades and introduced a small range of beers at its production site in 1995. The region’s harsh climate during the winter months and the pure groundwater are conducive to producing these quality beers.
