KILCHOMAN Loch Gorm 2023 Edition

For almost 10 years, the release of a new version of Kilchoman Loch Gorm every spring has been quite an event.
Named after the largest freshwater lake on Islay, located not far from the distillery, with dark peat-colored waters and abundant wildlife, Loch Gorm combines Kilchoman's expressive 50 ppm peat and citrus notes with the woody, fruity and gourmet influence of sherry.
For the Loch Gorm 2023 edition, 22 casks were selected, 8 distilled in 2013, 6 in 2014 and 8 in 2015. Each cask was chosen for its unique profile which, when combined with the other 21, creates a masterful, richly fruity and peaty balance. Essential and always very pleasant!
