The label refers to George Orwell's novel "1984", which the legendary author wrote while on the island of Jura. It also refers to the overwhelming deer population living there. The whole thing was done with 1984 as inspiration and in the style of Cold War Communist Russia propaganda posters.

That Boutique-Y Whisky Company is recognisable by its cartoon-style labels, full of detail and allusion. While the design may seem whimsical, the selection is meticulous and often very surprising.
Nose : Lots of creamy vanilla and caramel lead with cake batter, floral malt and pear jam in support, then dry oak, cinnamon and lemon cheesecake.
Palate : Honeyed-drenched pear, earthy vanilla pod and fragrant wood smoke initially. Orange syrup, buttered soda bread and baking spices add depth with gingersnaps and tangy passion fruit in the backdrop.
Overall : Longue et épicée.
