The Clarendon distillery lies in the south of the island of Jamaica at St. Catherine’s Town. The rum has been made from local molasses since the 18th century. Nowadays, Clarendon is among the top-tier rum distilleries in the world, since it produces around 12 million liters of absolute alcohol.

Description
1995 Clarendon rum matured in a single barrel for 26 years, out of which 23 years in the tropics, before being bottled in 2022 at 65,7% ABV. Presented in a very limited release of 111 bottles only.
This rum holds an "EMB" mark which refers to the former Bog Estate mark (closed in 1948) which is part of the Wedderburn category. The EMB mark signifies a relatively light rum, with an ester content of 240-250 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol.
