The result of a white wine made exclusively from Muscat of Alexandria and Pink Muscat varieties hand-picked in the Tulahuén valley (located at the foothill of the Andes Mountains) and distilled in pot stills, this Pisco Waqar vintage was then matured for six long years in oak barrels. Its prolonged contact with wood lends it a highly complex, honeyed, vanilla-scented and candied dimension. However, it still maintains its aromatic and gustatory freshness, which is the central theme of this ever so traditional pisco. _x000D_
Golden yellow. Initially, whole bunches of grapes literally jump out of the glass. This fruity, crispy approach is held together by a very pure distillate and a very smooth (vanilla) woodiness (fine oak). Perfectly in line with the nose, the attack is also very fruity (lemon, fruity). The mid-palate is creamy, vegetal (dry grass) and honeyed (acacia). Highly complex, it lingers on to notes of sugared almonds and candied fruits (peach). Grapey, the retro-nasal olfaction is also marked by notes of medlar, heady florals (lily, iris) and citrus fruit zest (grapefruit, lemon)._x000D_ Limited edition of 1800 bottlesExclusive to LMDW
