One of the major highlights in our 2021 "French Connections" catalog is the launch of our very first indepedent bottler's range exclusively made up of French spirits: Version Française. Alsace has long been celebrated for the quality of its eaux-de-vie: it has now become famous also for the production of whisky. It is in Uberach, a village close to Strasbourg, that the Hepp family has been perpetuating their ancestral know-how for 3 generations. The cask selected for this 7th bottling of Version Française is an ex-Banyuls from 2014 which combines the Alsatian mastery of distillation and the elegance of Pyrenean natural sweet wines.
