Description
Since its foundation in 2006, The Nectar, an independent Belgian bottler, has been looking for the best spirits to share with professionals and the consumer. Initially focused on whiskies of all origins, their passion has expanded to include other spirits, including rum, armagnac, cognac and more recently calvados and grappa.
Tasting notes
Nose : Une belle entrée en matière avec des senteurs de fleurs séchées, de miel et de sirop d’érable enrobé d’un fin boisé toasté. Il fait bientôt place au lait chaud avec une note caramélisée de vanille bourbon.
Palate : Séveuse, et riche qui donne une impression de plénitude. La floralité et le côté mielleux du nez s’exprime ici sous forme de riche liqueur de camomille et de fleurs de tilleul.
Overall : Chaleureuse et gourmande, sur un registre très pâtissier. Crème anglaise, tarte à la fraise, crumble aux abricots. Un véritable chariot à dessert!
