Glenfiddich’s malt master Brian Kinsman teamed up with Speyside Craft Brewery to produce the first single malt Scotch whisky finished in IPA beer casks. First the partners had to create a new IPA that would pair well with Glenfiddich, it was then rested in oak casks which were subsequently used to mature single malt.Glenfiddich’s typical fruity profile combines with the bright and citrusy hop-led character from the IPA casks, creating a complex single malt with lots of character.
Tasting notes
