DOMAINE DES HAUTES GLACES 2018 Episteme R18P23 B : Vulson

In this expression, we are on the slopes of the Vulson greenhouse, the rhyolitic puy from which our water springs. The plot is a very small one of around 5000m². It lies in the valley created by the springs. It is surrounded by hedges, giving it a protected mountain haven. Since Frédéric REVOL took over the vineyard in 2009, the vineyard has been cultivated using organic and regenerative agro-ecological methods.
This cuvée has matured twice. First matured in three "Feuillettes" (the small 112-litre casks used for the "Minimus" cuvée), it was then placed in a Cognac cask, one of those which had initially housed our second batch, the mirror expression of this exploration into the effects of the plot, which comes from the "Mont Aiguille" climate.
