Tasting notes
Nose : A palette of sweetness with creme brulee vanilla, chocolate covered caramel and dried fruits such as figs, dates, quinces and then hints of toast and orange peel.
Palate : An interesting marriage between almond paste, dried apricots and raspberry jam, topped with maple syrup, milk chocolate and crème brulée. Once the first burnt notes dissipate, the real character of the rum arrives.
Overall : Nice supple balance of fruitcake with toasted nuances. Fine and supple.
