Dalmore collabore avec la bodega Gonzalez Byass depuis plus de 150 ans, ce qui nous permet l'accès exclusif à leurs futs les plus anciens et les plus précieux. Pour ce whisky, Richard Paterson a sélectionné l’un des meilleurs Apostoles Oloroso Sherry casks qui soit. Ce fût a donné à ce liquide des notes subtiles d'écorce d'orange et de cerises noires au marasquin. Après 36 longues années de maturation dans nos chais, le whisky a été soigneusement transféré dans un fût de bourbon du Kentucky pour trois années supplémentaires. Cette seconde maturation lui a conféré une élégance indéfinissable.
