Description
Exhalation, the first Opus of the Cortoisie brand, an unchill-filtered Single Malt, evokes a palette of aromas that are elegantly expressed in an organoleptic symphony. This Single Malt is inspired by a unique terroir: the Loire Valley, where it produces exceptional grains. This territory, bordered by hundred-year-old oak trees from which the best quality casks are produced to host this whisky, fades through evanescent landscapes and peat bogs. Everything here evokes the world of great malts.
Tasting notes
Nose : Puissant et séduisant : nez tourbé subtil accompagné d’accents de fruits blancs frais et d’épices. Les arômes se multiplient avec l’aération, un cocktail de céréales, de fruits mûrs et des notes de viande fumée.
Appearance : Couleur paille avec des nuances dorées. Un aspect brillant, remarquablement riche.
Palate : Structure suave, tendre et délicatement parfumée. Superbe mariage de notes poivrées, tourbées et fruitées. Persistance très longue et claire sur des notes tourbées sophistiquées aux accents iodés sensibles.
