Liqueurs D'agrumes, France / Pays De La Loire, 70cl, Ref: 3304
Cointreau liqueur was created in Angers in 1849. The recipe has been kept secret over the generations for more than 150 years and offers a perfect blend of carefully selected sweet and bitter orange peel (citrus bigaradia). It is not unlike the Triple Sec liqueur. Cointreau’s power and freshness, accompanied by notes of orange peel, have inspired the greatest mixologists to create numerous cocktails, popular in France and all over the world.

- Appearance : perfect clearness characterised by total transparency and a bright crystal-like clarity.
- Nose : powerful. Great finesse, and yet also superbly complex. The harmony of zesty notes of bitter orange combined with the freshness of lemon and vegetal notes. On the finish, round, smooth, slightly candied fruity notes, and sweet orange.
- Palate : fine density, creamy, sweet flavour, quickly balanced by the strength of the alcohol, a touch of acidity and a slight bitterness. A beautiful balance of sweet and bitter scents from the orange peel produce a pleasant freshness.
