A tribute to the pickle. But not just any pickle. The one that has been incorporated into the Citadelle Original's aromatic base comes from Maison Marc, well known to gourmets and lovers of French terroir. This 100% family-run business grows its Cucumis sativus without insecticides, herbicides or preservatives and they are still picked by hand in Burgundy.
Tasting notes
Nose : Des notes intenses et herbacées de genièvre et d’anis, puis, le côté vinaigré et vert du cornichon apportent une dimension saline.
Palate : Au palais, le genièvre laisse place à une saveur voluptueuse et fraîche, saline et vinaigrée
Overall : Longue et persistante avec une subtile touche de moutarde et petits oignons blancs
