CHOPIN Rye Vodka 40%

Vodka De Cereale, Poland, 70cl, Ref: 3690

Chopin Rye, also known as Chopin Red, is made from a golden rye variety grown in the Podlasie region. It is distilled in traditional copper column stills four times and diluted with artesian well water before being filtered five times.

Tasting note

Appearance : crystal clear.
Nose : dry and slightly spicy with freshly baked rye bread.
Palate : mild and delicate with notes of lemon and cracked black pepper.

Chopin vodka is like no other. Few vodkas in Poland can claim to own their own distillery. Founded in 1992 by the Dorda family, the Chopin distillery produces a potato vodka, Chopin Potato, during the autumn and a rye vodka, Chopin Rye, during the rest of the year. Both are distilled four times in a copper column still. Whether produced from rye or potato, Chopin vodka is diluted with artesian well water and filtered 5 times before being bottled in Siedlce at the Chopin bottling plant.
