- Nose : firm, concentrated. The spices and noble wood accentuate its noble expression. The camphor and chilli reveal its heady character. Candied fruit.

- The brand
A genuine Latin American treasure, Cartavio was created in 1929 and has been considered ever since as one of the finest in the world in all categories. Loved by those with the most demanding palates, it is also accessible to amateurs looking for new sensations. Cartavio owes its fine flavours and unique bouquet to the process of marrying old and very old rums in a superb solera, a technique that originated in Jerez in Spain. This ageing process ensures a harmony of flavours by marrying young eaux de vie with very old eaux de vie through a succession of transfers from cask to cask.
