This brandy, distilled from a base of wild apricots, expresses refined, generous notes of apricot, fruit yoghurt, peaches and melon.
All bottles of Capovilla spirits are laced, waxed and finally stamped by hand, reflecting the care that is taken at every stage of production. The handwritten label records the type of fruit, the year of harvest and the number of each bottle. A genuine work of art.

- Appearance : colourless.
- Nose : full-bodied, complex. A broad expression of apricot in a variety of forms: ripe fruit, jam, apricot tart. The quality of the fruit is quite exceptional. Mineral (lava, manganese), it evokes embers. Punctuated with sweet spices, it is tempered by apricot coulis, exotic fruit (mango, guava) and green liquorice.
- Palate : firm and yet soft, beneath the coated tannins, it is like biting into a fresh apricot. Herbaceous, a fresh, luxurious nature is revealed. The mid-palate is floral (peonies, freesias) and slightly earthy. Delicate persistence with notes of saffron and black liquorice. There is also a lingering presence of fruit (apricot, nectarine).
- Overall : long, rugged. Sublime flavours of ripe apricots return, nonetheless leaving room for a flirtation with some citrus notes (bergamot, lime). Forged in the hardest steel, its minerality does not disappoint. It becomes increasingly concentrated. Retro-olfaction evokes fruit yoghurt (apricot of course, but also strawberry and redcurrant).

Intensely passionate about fruit, the former mechanic is dedicated to seeking out its rarest and most remarkable varieties in the Alps and Italy or indeed in France and Romania. A veritable engineer of nature, he has, since 1976, been dedicated to finding new ways to purify his eaux de vie and preserve the essence of its fruit and pomace, filing numerous patents related to distillation, conservation and reduction before bottling.
