To represent the Ghosts of the Macbeth tragedy, it was obvious for Elixir Distillers to offer a selection of distilleries that are now closed and silent. This Cambus is the first of the 6 Ghosts to appear.
Livingstone and Elixir Distillers present the first act of the Macbeth range, a tribute to the play written by William Shakespeare in 1606. This first act includes nine elixirs that will allow us to wait patiently before the next four acts, for a total of 42 whiskies. Each scotch whisky in this series is based on the profiles of the characters in Macbeth, with tasting notes written by Dave Broom and labels illustrated by the legendary Sir Quentin Blake. It's a journey from Shakespeare to the finest bottles Elixir Distillers has to offer.
Tasting notes
Nose : Delicious and delicate. Crumble, vanilla, lime blossom.
